Gourmet Gents is one of NC100BW’s most popular events. A significant portion of the proceeds from the event goes toward the support of the Academy for Girls (AFG), a program that provides mentoring, scholarships and career building for high school aged African American girls.

This year, approximately thirty distinguished gentlemen agreed to volunteer time and talent to demonstrate their culinary skills. During the process, they also cooked up a heap of money in support of AFG.

The morning before, Gents and Coalition members gathered at the Second Helpings facility to slice and dice in preparation and creation of the evening’s culinary delights.

By 7:00 pm, every Gent, donned in a red chef hat and apron, offered samplings of his "secret recipes" for all to enjoy.

it was a hot and very cool summer's eve.

Seeing is believing so make sure you check out the Gents Gallery of this year and previous years "Evening with the Gents" events!
